Toporama NTS Maps
The above map shows the Canadian NTS (National Topographic System) map data, which comes from the Toporama Web Mapping Service. The data is equivalent to the 1:50,000 topographic maps (aka topo maps) that you are likely used to using for tripping purposes. Here you can pan and zoom around the map to view the data; notice how in some areas portage trails and campsites are even visible. Of course, as with most data of this type, it should be used with a grain of salt; lakes and hills don't move much, but trails and campsites sure get overgrown in a hurry! Always check other resources to make sure the trip you are interested in is still feasible!
