GRAND RIVER - Glen Morris to Paris

Matt, Mike and I paddled the Grand River from Glen Morris to Paris on the day after my birthday. Matt and I went to Mike and Sandra's new place in Paris with Matt's canoe and my canoe on the trailer. Mike joined us, and we drove up to Glen Morris to put in. The weather was cold and rainy the whole time, but we were excited to go paddling, and weren't going to let that stop us. We saw some ducks, geese and swans, and had quite a bit of fun in the small rapids along the way. Many of these rapids would be considered "Class 1" but probably only when the water was this high.
