		KILLARNEY PROVINCIAL PARK: Bell, Three Mile, Balsam, David Lakes The 2003 version of our annual Thanksgiving weekend trip. Matt, Mike and I headed up to Killarney this year for a fantastic trip starting at Bell Lake. October 11, 2003 Met Mike at work and drove up to Killarney, arriving in the early morning NE through Bell Lake N through Three Mile Lake P 30m (trolley) into Balsam Lake W through Balsam Lake P 665m into David Lake Camp on island site, UTM 478,150E, 5109330N (Based on NAD83, UTM 17N) Today's portage distance = 695 m Total portage distance = 695 m Today's paddle distance = 15.3 Km Total paddle distance = 15.3 Km October 12, 2003 Hike to Silver Peak and back (approximately 6.5km) Today's portage distance = 0 m Total portage distance = 695 m Today's paddle distance = 0 Km Total paddle distance = 15.3 Km October 13, 2003 SE through David Lake P 200m into David Creek SE along David Creek P 745m into Bell Lake E through Bell Lake back to Access Point Today's portage distance = 945 m Total portage distance = 1640 m Today's paddle distance = 7.6 Km Total paddle distance = 22.9 Km Maps & Info: Killarney Provincial Park Map, 2000 by Friends of Killarney Provincial Park (1:50,000) Federal Topo Maps (1:50,000): 41 I/3 Lake Panache (See it on Toporama!)
